XCL-Guard Starts with a Strong Foundation
We use PUR-Guard™ cementitious urethane to make up the base of your layered system. PUR-Guard is formulated to withstand chemical and thermal shock, making it ideal anywhere excessive heat, steam, or hot liquids are present.
It will resist a wide-range of organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, amines, solvents and salts; and it is durable enough to stand up to excessive, heavy traffic.
Moisture Resistant: XCL-Guard can withstand moisture from the slab up to 99% RH in-situ probe, 20 lb./1000 sq. ft./24 hrs.
Decorative Options: Who says you can’t have decorative options in a urethane cement flooring system? With XCL-Guard, you can have colored flake or quartz using one of our standard blends or we can customize your own color scheme.
100% Solid, Non-porous, Seamless Finish: Liquids and most pollutants do not penetrate the coating, leaving a smooth, durable, easily cleanable surface. There are no grout lines or seams where bacteria growth can occur.
Low Odor/Zero VOC Options: Depending on your environment, choose from low/ no odor, or low/zero VOC’s. All Res-Tek flooring systems are VOC Compliant in all US states.
Chemical Resistant: Resistant to a wide variety of chemicals, excluding some solvents. Please ask us about any specific concerns.
Resist™: This anti-microbial additive can be added to any Res-Tek system, boosting stain and odor resistance.
Low Maintenance: No stripping or waxing is necessary. Simply cleaning with acrylic floor cleaner or degreaser will keep floors looking their best.
