EPO-Guard High Solids Epoxy Flooring
Not all epoxies are created equal, and you want to be sure you choose the right one for your application.
The term “epoxy” is often used to describe all types of resinous flooring, but it is actually a separate category with it’s own subsets, including Novolac epoxy and elastomeric epoxies. Epoxy flooring is typically a value-driven solution, applied thinner than other resins, but with EPO-Guard™, you get more bang for your buck.
EPO-Guard was developed to provide a higher performing product to the marketplace and is an economical, chemical resistant coating. EPO-Guard also has improved durability and UV resistance over other commercial grade epoxies on the market. It provides a seamless, low-maintenance solution for a variety of environments, but be aware that any epoxy will require a longer cure time than an acrylic or urethane cement system.
Installers appreciate that EPO-Guard is user-friendly, especially on larger installations, and fulfills their needs when the project calls for a true epoxy solution. When needed, alternate topcoats are available within our ISO-Guard line.

Res-Tek’s EPO-Guard™ is an economical, high-performance system that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It is applied over concrete substrate creating an adhesive bond that protects your floor, transforming it into a high gloss, durable surface.
Epoxy is typically a value-driven solution, but with EPO-Guard™, you get more bang for your buck. It is more durable and has improved UV resistance over other commercial grade epoxies.
Non-porous, Seamless Finish: Liquids do not penetrate the coating, leaving a smooth, durable, easily cleanable surface.
Chemical & Stain Resistant: Resistant to a wide variety of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, and solvents. Please ask us about any specific concerns.
Low Odor, Zero VOC: High solids, low odor, and zero VOCs ensures installation is minimally invasive and easy on your staff. All Res-Tek flooring systems are VOC Compliant in all US states.
Choice of Decorative Finishes & Topcoats: Our epoxy floor coatings naturally cure to a high gloss finish, and are available in a variety of colors, styles, and textures. You can choose to use one solid color, or broadcast colored flake or quartz for a more decorative appeal. Choose from a smooth high-gloss finish, orange peel, or an aggressive non-slip surface.
Multiple topcoats, including fast-curing polyaspartics and high-traffic urethanes, are available within our ISO-Guard line in order to enhance system performance.
Resist™: This anti-microbial additive can be added to any Res-Tek system, boosting stain and odor resistance.
